Η Νουρ Αμπεντ είναι διεπιστημονική καλλιτέχνιδα και σκηνοθέτρια από την Ιερουσαλήμ. Παρακολούθησε το Whitney Independent Study Program στη Νέα Υόρκη το 2015-16 και το Home Workspace Program (HWP) στο Ashkal Alwan στη Βηρυτό το 2016-17. Έλαβε το πτυχίο της από την International Academy of Arts στην Παλαιστίνη και το μεταπτυχιακό της από το California Institute of the Arts. Η πρακτική της εξετάζει τις έννοιες της χορογραφίας και της φανταστικής σχέσης των ατόμων, δημιουργώντας καταστάσεις όπου οι κοινωνικές δυνατότητες δοκιμάζονται αλλά και πραγματοποιούνται.

Noor Abed is an interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker from Jerusalem. She attended the Whitney Independent Study Program in Νew York in 2015-16, and the Home Workspace Program (HWP) at Ashkal Alwan in Beirut in 2016-17. She received her BA from the International Academy of Arts in Palestine and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. Her practice examines notions of choreography and the imaginary relationship of individuals, creating situations where social possibilities are both rehearsed and performed.
