THE SOFT SPACE

Μια εξερεύνηση δύο επιφανειών που συναντώνται συχνά αλλά σπάνια ράβονται μεταξύ τους: το ανθρώπινο σώμα και το υπέδαφος. Το σώμα είναι μαλακό και αιωρείται στο κενό, το μετρό είναι σκληρό και υπόγειο. Εξετάζονται και αντιπαραβάλλονται, με τις αισθητηριακές τους ποιότητες αντίθετες και τις διαφορές τους άπειρες. Σιγά σιγά, μέσω του μοντάζ, διαπλέκονται και ενώνονται, το ένα διασχίζεται από το άλλο, το ένα εμπεριέχει το άλλο. Συνενώνονται σε κίνηση μέσα από μια καταιγιστική σύγκρουση που τα φέρνει μαζί.

An exploration of two surfaces often encountered but rarely sutured together: the human body and the underground. The body is soft and floats in the void, the subway is hard and subterranean. They are both examined and juxtaposed, their sensorial qualities opposite, their differences infinite. Slowly, by montage, they interlace, and they unite, one traversed by the other, one containing the other, they join in movement by a rapid-fire collision that brings them together.
